![]() ![]() Very surprised to not see a thread on these guys. Definitely a pinnacle in anyone's psychedelic archive. QMS is truly one of the first bands of its genre, leading many other bands to follow from the mid 60's on. I only wish I was not 19 and could have seen them live back in the day. Lately Iv been into there Self Titled which is in all aspects a perfect album. I have not heard there late albums with newer members, anyone have a take on that before I check it out? ----------------------------------------------------------------- STUDIO DISCOGRAPHY Original band: * Revolution (movie soundtrack) (UAS 5185 (1968)) with Steve Miller Band & Mother Earth * Quicksilver Messenger Service (1968) * Happy Trails (1969) With Nicky Hopkins: * Shady Grove (1969) * Just for Love (1970) * What About Me (1970) Hawaiian Albums: * Just for Love (1970) * What About Me (1970) Quicksilver under Dino Valente: * Quicksilver (1971) * Comin' Thru (1972) Reunion: * Solid Silver (1975) Gary Duncan's revival: * Peace By Piece (1986) * Shape Shifter Vols. 1 & 2 (1996) * Live at Fieldstone (1997) * Shapeshifter Vols. 3 & 4 (2006) * Strange Trim (2006)
