These two here are just what the doctor ordered.
This first vid here is a live performace of the first few minutes of a 26-minute long track from Ritual's 2008 album The Hemulic Voluntary Band called 'A Dangerous Journey'. It's a bit folksy, but its one of the best epics I've heard from any modern prog. band, plus the theme of travelling is prevalent: ...and this second track here is VDGG's Refugees, which is, as the title suggests, about a bunch of exiles journeying to find a country/place they can call their own. It's also one of the prettiest songs the band ever composed!

Porcupine Tree - Voyage 34
The whole 4 track album. Its about a LSD trip gone wrong, it plays out like one long song. So I guess its like a journey of sorts, a journey of the mind, a twisted surreal mind... |

How about "Supper's ready" by Genesis? Also there's "The wake of Magellan" by Savatage, or "The Necromancer" by Rush off "Caress of steel". Are you looking for an ACTUAL, physical journey, or a more, ah, metaphysical thing?
