Kinda necromancing this old thread, but I stumbled across it on Google and had to register and post a comment.

I -love- Now Soon Nowhere. I filled in for a band that toured with them this past summer on a small midwestern tour, and they were absolutely awesome every single night. They really pull the material off live, and occasionally whip out a cover song that will completely floor you. Their latest EP has one of them hidden on it, absolutely amazing.

I really dug the Character Studies album, can't wait to hear new music from them. Plus they're all some of the coolest guys I've ever met in the biz, and that truly is saying something because I meet a lot of cool people on tour, and these guys are up there in the top tier of coolest people ever. Add their great music to that, and it's win/win.
