No I reviewed the album a couple of months back and I don't consider it progressive. Far more bands out there who subvert the Metal formula. If you include these then you have to start including Mastodon, Akphayeza etc. One album is not enough to get in and a poor one at that.

I might give them an honorable mention, they are mostly associated with metalcore, and that's exactly what a lot of their stuff sounds like, granted they like to throw in random things like jazz fusion instrumentals. But it's never really stuff thats mixed together, rather they just play one style and segue into another mid song. Metalcore with a prog twist is still.... metalcore.

They're certainly proggish but eh, I wouldn't call them prog.
