Of course it did, they mimicked their sound perfectly! It really does sound like it's recorded by the supposed fab four.

I sometimes think Comus is just parodying himself in instances like this. Well.... I surely hope that's what he's doing.
I wouldn't apply a word like hipster to describe an album that largely influenced one of the most critically despised genres in rock music history and is now easy pickings for every scenester kid to rant about. It was a sacred cow once upon a time, but come on, it's not 1977 anymore. People have become so obsessed with pissing on this sacred cow that it's hardly a sacred cow anymore. Now is the time that I wish people would start accepting that it actually IS a great album. It's more hip to hate The Beatles now if anything, especially Sgt Peppers. |

What? Pretty much every hipster I've ever seen seems to think the Beatles are gods. Pretty much all indie pop sounds exactly like them.
