Their debut is rooted more in jazz/avant-garde fusion. Reminds me of Frank Zappa often. Some of the bass lines were amazing to say the least
Great Jazz-Fusion/Avant-garde album. I wouldn't consider it "Zeuhl" yet. Even their second record is very good, but more of a transition album. Mekanik Destruktiw Kommandoh is where the weirdness starts! A blend of so many genres and the songs have quite a repetitive structure. There are some of the jazz elements, but it doesn't feel Jazzy at all. Well, you could just call it Magma or Zeuhl i guess
Yeah, definitely listen to 1001° Centigrades next or just jump onto Destruktiw Kommandoh.
