Oh my lord, I just started listening to Magma and they're blowing me away. Mekanik Destruktiw Kommandoh is supremely overblown but a really well-orchestrated album. I love this stuff.
Is there anything else of Magma's that compares favorably to this?

Magma fans, I have a question - I have been listening to Magma for some time now, but I have only recently really started to listen their music. Since then, I have discovered Vander's language and whole story behind their music, so I am wondering, if there is any good site that have info about that Kobaian language and the whole story behind it. Thanks.

The one thing this board has done is half tempted me to get into prog. I mean I'm not going to be fapping to Dream Theater anytime soon or anything, but Magma sounds like a pretty good place to start.

Well, Zeuhl is hardly prog rock. It is however somewhat of obscure genre, but it is kinda realted to prog rock.
I too don't like prog metal (DT is in that genre IMO), but prog rock... there is much love =).
