Not sure tbh... I haven't listened to it enough.

It's definetly their most "metal" album... but I don't think it's their best metal...

Hello, do you know why?

One my dutch friend hate them too although he loves mostly all progressive music. His reasons why is that he can't stand electronic parts and he doesn't like voice and some music opinions of S. Wilson.

From FOABP my fave is definitelly Anesthetize. Than also Way out of here.
Sentimental is ok but I am more in love with song Normal on EP Nil Recurring.
Well, I think PT better metal is on Deadwing... But just my opinion.

I am enjoying it as I listen to it again. I love the "story" of this album.

I think that there is perhaps too much constant metal on FOABP though.... I'm not sure yet.



Oh, and, from what I can gather they only play the first half of Russia On Ice live! Is this true? It seems a sin to me, as I pretty much crave the second part of that song when I listen to it...

Yeah, FOABP story is really interesting. But still... this album has 4. place for me, after The Incident. But I like metal so it's not problem.

Yes, it seems. What a pity. I enjoy this song like a whole, only first or only second part is not enough.
But they do it with Anesthetize too. It has three parts and now they play live only second middle part.
Huh, it's probably too long and too hard to play these tracks all live. But both of them are between my top 10 by PT.

Yeah, it's a bit dissapointing....understandable though, I guess. Do you if Anesthetize is played in full on the soon to be released DVD?


Going back to Sentimental....I know it came from Normal, but I really don't really any similarities between the two....
