ahh okay then, well you're well off so far. Go for it, my favourite PT album - Fear Of A Blank Planet. Get Lightbulb Sun as well (it's easy to get into and has a lot of great songs that just make you feel good like 'The Rest Will Flow')
I think 'Anesthetize' and 'Russia On Ice' are two of their best songs, from FOABP and LS respectively... |

@mrguy - if you still won't be tired of this band, after FOABP and Lightbulb sun, I recommend also Stupid Dream - it's really good one! And what about promised review of The Incident? I was curious to read your opinion... |

After a slow start I am beginning to love PT. I have all the studio albums and am beginning to track down the rest of their releases.
So far: 1. On The Sunday Of Life 2. Up The Downstair 3. FOABP Radioactive toy is my favourite song so far, damn beauty, especially live versions of it |

So I see you are fan of "old" Porcupine Tree
I dont listen to their first album so much, somehow it has some too crazy songs for me - like Jupiter Island. But other old albums are really good. Radioactive toy is classic song, cool! |

I guess you could say i dig the 'old' PT Which is surprising, as they don't share the metal-esque vibes that some of the latter works do. And metal in most forms goes down well to me being somewhat a metalhead. . .
Trying to get hold of 'Arriving Somewhere' and failing miserably at present, is it worth an online order to anyone who has it? |
