anyway when you guys have soaked it in I want to hear your opinions on Oar, because one minute I can't make heads or tails of it the next it's the best album I've ever heard (headphones help). Like the west coast Syd Barrett but utterly cracked?
I have an old review of Oar I wrote when it was re-released by Sundazed in 2000. I also have some files of pictures I took of Skip around a year before his death in 1999.

The bad news: My file on Skip is among about 200 CDRW discs, but I find the disc easily enough. I'll have to reformat both the review and any photos into Microsoft Word format, which will take about a half hour. But I don't want to post it if nobody wants to read it. The photos of Skip are very rare because in his final days he was periodically homeless and noboby was interested in photographing him. He looks quite a bit different from his glory days with Moby Grape.

Is anyone interested in reading the review and seeing the pics?
