I'm working on mine but I'll do it like I did the Genesis ones, one at a time to build up the suspense/give me a chance to get it done. Good choices mostly Ori. Some in there I would not have, some I don't even know ("The Bouncer"?) but a solid selection even so. I feel mine may be a lot different, but that's the fun of it. This is fun, right?

Are you gonna do a bottom ten along with a top ten? Cause personally, I don't think I could. I love ELO too much.

The Bouncer is one of my favs (I think it was a single released after Time), and just barely didn't make the cut. On some days, it could easily have been up there.

Yeah, of course. Won't be as easy as the Genesis one though. Expect much of it to be drawn from ELO and ELO II...

The Dishonourable Mentions:
Bluebird, Send It, Heaven Only Knows, Rockaria!, Jungle, Birmingham Blues, Fire On High (for scaring the **** out of me when younger).

And now, won't be a popular choice but **** yaz!

Trollheart's ELO Bottom Ten
Number Ten

"Rock and Roll is King" - Secret Messages (1983)

(Perhaps odd that my number ten from both top and bottom ten is from the same album, but I just hated it when ELO went that Chuck Berry rock and/or roll route, and so you can expect the "other one" to appear here too.)

Aw, but Rockaria! and Jungle are so much fun.

But if you don't like their more Rock n Roll-y stuff, I guess I can understand why you'd dislike them.

One of these days, I'm going to rank all the Beatles songs (I don't think anyone's done that with them yet). Yeah, Rock n Roll is King is not their best effort, but it wouldn't be in my bottom ten. Actually, I haven't listened to much ELO after Xanadu; only the songs that got airplay (I happen to really like Calling America). I'm more of an early ELO person anyway- Roll Over Beethoven .

Rockaria! annoys me because I hate opera, and yer wan's voice puts my teeth on edge. Jungle is ok, but it's a little out of place I feel on OOTB.

Pet_Sounds started; you should get together with him and maybe collaborate.

As for Roll Over, well it is a cover (two really: Beethoven and Berry ) but yeah, Calling America will be in my top ten. Excellent song that shows them at close to their best.
