Haha, i never knew that.

I confess, i think Vai is great when he wants to be, he proved it with Zappa, and even on a few of his own albums.... But much too often, his ego just takes over and the finished product is just a big mess.

He played on their 'album' album and on the single Rise , which was P.I.L.`s biggest ever hit ironically.

The guy who thinks every band only has at least 1 or 2 good albums?... C'mon now. ;)

How do you think I know the rest are rubbish.

Odd.

I know that one member used to be a roadie for Yes... Can't remember which one.

But why download 60 albums if you only think you will like 2 or 3? :p:

That would be Keith Levene , who was the original guitarist in The Clash..

Quote:

Levene’s infamous circular rhythms, he claims, indirectly come from things Yes guitarist Steve Howe taught him. "When I was fifteen I went to work for my favorite band as a roadie—which was Yes—and I was a terrible roadie. Yeah, so even though I play nothing like him, Steve Howe is still my favorite guitarist. I don’t copy him. I do get a lot of my internal knowledge, or feeling on guitar, or what you can do and what kinds of sounds you can make from Steve Howe. I think he is so damned good; he taught me a lot, when I worked for Yes, but he didn’t know he was my hero."
