Magnolia has been consistently producing things I want to see, and films I'm glad I have seen. Looking forward to this one.

Default The tragedy falls apart

I once had a boss who tried to look like Frank Zappa because he thought it might make him "reach me". He was what the professionals call a deluded pile of doo doo cancer. And a stupid cracker. He was a self interested jack ass who liked cracking whips to feel special. Sentences like this are really quite

My favorite Zappa is likely:

Absolutely Free,
Lumpy Gravy,
We're Only In it For The Money,
Uncle Meat,
200 Motels (and the movie),
Just Another Band From L.A.,
Weasels Ripped My Flesh,
Fillmore East,
London Symphony Orchestra Vol 2,
The Yellow Shark.

Watched it. It's good. Gained a lot of respect from me for his work ethic.

Just recently fell in love with The Mothers' "Anyway The Wind Blows"

God what a beautiful tune

If I remember correctly, that's the pop song that they played for the record company in order to get the album made. It is a good song

EDIT: I've added Uncle Meat and Absolutely Free.
Some of those are quite hard to get into for most listeners, although I assume you're not most listeners.

Out of the albums which are easier to get into, I like One Size Fits All the most. It's great from start to finish, particularly Inca Roads and Sofa no. 2. Other albums I find a little easier includes Over-nite Sensation, Apostrophe, Hot Rats (already on your list), Sheik Yerbouti and Joe's Garage.

I wish Zappa had done more mellow fusiony jazz tracks like the gorgeous Blessed Relief from The Grand Wazoo.
