No but really, Maynard is a complete ****ing jerk off. Don't get me wrong, I love Tool...APC is good too...But Maynard is an idiot. Sure, he can write good lyrics but in all honesty he has no idea what he's talking about when it comes to the world, politics and anything else that requires a sense of controllment. Listen to him in interviews, on the APC dvd...anytime he talks about anything he contradicts himself over and over again, it's ridiculous. He just has all these opinions thrown into his head it's like he never sat down and tried to sort them out on his own.

I'm democratic. Thank you very much. I don't like Bush either. But for the right reasons. I didn't only attack his views on politics, I said everything in general. You may like that video, as I do too...But his conception behind some other videos and everything he does just contradict themselves repeatedly and after awhile it gets ridiculous and if you're smart enough to realize that what he thinks makes no sense then you get tired of it. APC and Tool are amazing, but Maynard James Keenan is not cool in my book.

I've never heard of people reevaluating their thoughts within half a minute. That's a miracle! Sieg Heil Maynard. Meh. We are all guilty of being inconsistant, but only when we have no bearing on what to truely feel and think. If you want to believe what you want to believe then I don't care how much convincing you get, you stick with what you believe in. You cannot be talking to someone and say one thing and then the next sentence be contradicting that last sentence, that is showing that he does not know what to sway towards.

great lyricist. i have to say, although im a fan of both APC and Tool, i like his work with tool better. im not exactly sure why. his voice just seems to match better with their music. that might only be because i listenned to tool long before i started listening to apc, and im used to the sound of his voice backed by their music. both are great bands though

A Perfect Circle
 

To me APC has been become one of my fave bands. Yes they're noTool but they were not ment to be. They are themselves. Anyone else love them?

I love 'em, even though the first album I got of theirs was eMOTIVe, which wasnt a great idea... Their weakest work if you ask me, it kinda put me off them slightly. But then I bought Mer De Noms and loved it, so its all good... But it gets annoying when everyone compares them to Tool. Theyre seperate bands, they shouldnt have to be compared.

This shouldnt be in the lounge by the way..

I wouldn't say it was the weakest album, just it wasn't comprised completyly by APC it was a cover songs, which they did a terrific job ofthe best songs off it are: Peace, Love and Understanding, Passive, Freedom of Coice, and Counting Bodies Like Sheep to the Rhythm of the War Drums (by far the best song). Mer de Noms is certainly the best album to start with.Listen to Orestes, The Hollow, Rose, Sleeping Beauty, and Judith. The first APC song i ever heard was 3 Libras because im a libra i listened to the song, after that i was in love Don't forget about 13th Step though it kicks ass as well try Pet, The Package, The Outsider, Gravity, to name a few.
