They tend to get overlooked, but Winwood was a great vocalist and organ player, and Chris Wood provided some of the best flute parts this side of Tull. Feelin Alright, 40 Thousand Headmen, Medicated Goo, Rainmaker are some their many cool songs.

Solid band, for one of the most mainstream bands among their peers they sure don't get talked about much.

Oddly, have been listening to Traffic lately and watched Eric Clapton and Stevie Winwood Life At Madison Square Gardon (spelled out for anyone outside U.S.) just the other night (weird)! Stevie Winwood's just amazing, both keyboards and guitar.
![]() ![]() ![]() Sending you clips of Dear Mr. Fantasy (favorite Traffic song) from MSG and a "from the vault" concert. Love Pearly Queen too. I'll have to go with The Low Spark of High Heeled Boys, even though Dave Mason was split then. Dave Mason's is favorite version of Feelin' Alight.
