...no only thing they share in common is the classic rock tag.

Oh my, it's been years since I heard their name mentioned. Absolutely underrated, I agree with this.

Definitely a band to check out. Although they do have some great material I wouldn't class any of the albums to be truly great, though most are very good. But, they always strike me as a band who's musical abilities far outweigh their songmanship, which is good because most of their stuff ranges from good to very good.

As cliche as it is I recommend Argus as their best album.

Argus, There's The Rub, New England, and their s/t are pretty badass. Argus is as good or better than the other classic rock of its age, so myeah.

I seem to be the only one on the planet who likes the track Handy on the debut album. Sorry, but it's just fun! Lol.

I love Wishbone Ash as stated earlier, very very underrated musicians and some great stuff in their catalogue.

Handy is great, it's a brilliant example of a great bass guitar song.

Argus one of the truly great prog albums of the early 70`s from a great band, Wishbone Ash had a haunting harmony so unique in their day, unforgettable. Thought their latter 70`s stuff pretty crap though and haven`t listened to any of their releases since, seems like Comus has recommended some of their recent stuff, so may well give them a listen.
