I would much rather listen to Pink Floyd, but there is no comparison to the musicianship of Dream Theater. Jordan Rudess is one of the greatest keyboard players to ever play, and the band is tight... but David Gilmour can make a guitar cry. I was watching the Roger Waters performance at Live Earth, last year, and it was sad. The poor guy is shaking so bad, they had to have a backup bassist just to make sure that the notes were played.

I don't know that much about DT, but Floyd, hands down.
