Ya know, shouldn't we just merge the Steven Wilson and Porcupine Tree threads together?

In my opinion Steven Wilson has too many music projects that it doesn't fit everything into Porcupine Tree name. But of course it depends on moderators. I know people in PT and SW thread are the same. But I would let it how it is now. |

So now I read today many news about S. Wilson and we have lot of what to be curious for.
Steven is making new solo album, sound will be influenced by music of King Crimson. Probably again something different. More informations here - Bravewords.com > News > PORPCUPINE TREE's Steven Wilson - "We Keep Fighting To Try To Infiltrate The Mainstream Any Way We Can" And... this month Steven started some work with Mikael Akerfeldt. They made already some 15 minute piece and they are still working. No metal, it will be probably rock. They both want to make something unique and different than music of Porcupine Tree and Opeth. I love both of these guys and bands so I am really very curious. |

He might me an arsehole, but his music is brilliant. I don't think his presonality really matters at all, and even if it does, you can best learn about it through his music, or actually knowing him personally.
Apparantly some guy went up to SW after a gig and did the "I'm your biggest fan speech" and he also said "I own all your records and I don't even own a record player!" SW called him a wierdo poor guy. I am too excited about this news about solo projects and whatnot. There are also reports of the guy from Dream Theater working with SW and the Opeth guy |
