Gilmour is one of my favorites, and so is Krieger, i think Krieger is very VERY underrated.

yeah i have the dvd of the making of the dark side, and its got all the members nowadays, except for barrett of course, and they are all so proper and respectable. I love watching gilmour play, and rick wright for that matter. I think that richard wright has the greatest musical grasp and knowledge of scales and progressions of anyone in the group, he is very knowledgable.

I don't know, what I have heard by the doors I don't see krieger's playing all that outstanding, maybe i'm not listening close enought. He came up with some good riffs and all, but I think manzereck is the musical genious of the group

i don't get the fascination with gilmour. i never found him to be well rounded, or really an innovative guitarist. but im still going to have to go with pink floyd. something about the doors makes me want to kill hippies. but floyd i can chill too.

I prefer the Doors. Mainly due to the fact my dad grew up in the 60's and has loads of their material, so ive heard more of their stuff and from what ive heard i think its better

Peace Frog has a fecking awesome riff, and his playing on LA.Women and Light My Fire is outstanding.

I like both, but I prefer the Doors.

The Doors are psychadelic and mellow without being overly bombastic.
