To provoke further jealousy: i didn't even know who they were at the time. I only knew the song Judith.. haha. They ruled though.

I've never been to one of their live shows, but I think part of those live jam sessions are to get the audience loose and get them acting a little like they do (or to satisfy the other people on acid in the audience!)

Just because a band decides to do those jam sessions doesn't mean they are particularly bad live, it just means they made a bad decision in how they're live show is structured, since all those segments will serve to do is get the general audience bored and annoyed. How are they when they actually play songs?

I saw them about 5 years ago as well on the Frances the Mute tour. Unlike you though, I thoroughly enjoyed the show. There was a lot of improvisation, and I can see someone getting lost in the noise, but I really enjoyed it and felt like I was experiencing a psychedelic rock show from the 70s.

My girlfriend didn't even express any irritation, and that's saying something.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Only time I saw them, they were opening for System Of A Down. Their set was amazing. It was an arena show, though. Really looking forward to seeing them headlining at the Kool Haus in October.

I'd start with De-Loused in the Comatorium.
All of their albums are very different from eachother, but I've found that de-loused gets the most fans.

That's where I started.
