All their albums are different, so you're in for a massive treat exploring each one.

Yeah they sound like a really good band. To be honest I have known about them for about a year or more but have never bothered my arse to listen to them. I remember scoffing when I first saw the album cover of the guy driving a car with a red bag over his head lol. I thought they were just one of them bands I would never get round to checking out, like Boards Of Canada.

EDIT: Jesus christ man, these guys are awesome. On track 3 of 'Frances The Mute' it goes from some kind of Latin singing to guitar shredding (& then back again!).
It appears Ive been depriving myself of some great music for some time now.

I dunno, I'd say their post-Frances output is kinda samey. The only very noticeable stylistic leap they had was between De-loused and Frances.

I think Bedlam to Octahedron is a major change.

Yeah, almost as big as Amp to Bedlam.

Bedlam was pretty spazz to me, and the only song that would come close to it on Oct is Cotopaxi, and even that is a stretch. It's by no means a bad album, just not exactly what I was excpecting. I would put De-Loused as better than it personally.

I second that. One of the reasons I love De-Loused so much.
