Yes! I still think their concept albums are annoying. Speaking of Post Hardcore bands, anything on the new TFOT album?

They are. Hardcore instrumentation for non-hardcore purposes.

The Mars Volta, sounding like The Fall of Troy
You clearly have not heard one of them haha. But in regards to the album, im pretty sure it wont be for quite a while..They really dont have much time to do any recording because of how heavy they're touring right now. But after the Coheed tour..they might have some time, although I dont see them using that time for recording.

I heard something about December. Guess not. I hope they return to Doppleganger form. Manipulator was just above average.

I like where they're going with their musical diversity..and I look forward to a very sick album. The Ghostship demos are my favourite tracks, and I cant wait to hear them re-recorded.

What!? Are they going to be on the new album?
I like their general direction as well, I just thought Manipulator was inconsistent.

yes, they will be...Phantom on the Horizon will have re-recordings of all the Ghostship Demos. But enough of the TFOT discussion in The Volta thread.
