I don't mind them, in small quantities... I've only heard 2 'songs' off of Frances The Mute, one of the biggest headf**ks i've ever heard. Televators is great.

De-Loused is my favorite album also, but the others are crazy too, very trippy but structured in a way. crazy stuff.

I'm torn between Francis and De-Loused, I can't decide which one I like the most.

Tremulant, and Scabdates are awesome too.

I love Frances the Mute, a great album as a whole. However it doesn't sound too great on mp3 players shuffle lists.
Definately an album to take some time out to listen to, if you like that sort of thing.x

i think they've tried to be a bit too clever with Frances the Mute, at times it is a little too "progressive" and that can alienate fans. Personally i believe De-loused is a much better album. its songs are more distinctive, it has a better structure, and i generally think its a stronger effort than its follow-up.
