What a pretentious, self-indulgent, and completely overrated band. Nearly all their songs are killed, no, not killed, viciously murdered by their "experimental" and "complex" wank. Awful, awful, band.

I semi agree with him, and he never said that experimentation was bad, he merely said the Mars Volta's experimentation was bad.
I don't like them eather, their sound is too "tangy" for my liking.

I prefer deloused over frances the mute.
The only really good song off frances the mute is probably the widow.
