I was being 100% sincere. No sarcasm intended. I have my a$$hole/idiot moments like anyone else on this forum, and the best I can do is recognize it, apologize, and move on.
I love Portishead (as well as most other trip-hop), but they satisfy a much different fix than what TMV does. |

1) Go to the forum jump thingie in the lower right hand corner of the page
2) click on the forum where you would like to start the thread 3) click "new thread" in the upper lefthand corner of the screen I think you can handle it from there. |

mars volta + rhcp?
I was just looking over the liner notes of Mars Volta's album Frances the Mute and noticed something a little strange... John Frusciante and Flea played multiple insturments on like 4 songs on the album. I mean, some of the lead guitar stuff rips, but doesn't this seem a little strange? For some reason, the now-pop chili peppers sound doesn't naturally adapt itself to crazy Latino 'Yes'-sounding Meringue/Metal/Indie music. At least for me. lol. Weird, right? Any other really weird colloborations I should know of to give my mind a whirl? Cheers,
John
