I totally agree. ATDI is amazing. He sings so much better in ATDI. Plus, I'm into the heavierness of ATDI. Mars Volta is too damn Floyd-poserish. BTW: What is this about FLoyd having a reunion? That's lame. They were good once. Anyways, Mars VOlta is good, but not amazing. ATDI is amazing. Sparta is better than Volta as well. But ATDI takes them both with ease.

Mars Volta is the sound of ATDI going beyond the safety zone of cookie cutter structured music. Some people can't handle that.

Oh give me a break. I have all MV's stuff. It's not that I can't "Handle" it. Quit trying to act like you know more than me. You obviously have no clue what you're talking about. I thought this forum might be a way to share musical opinions and get ideas on what music to check out. I've realized now it's just a f ucking war zone of stupid useless arguments. Let people say what they want. I know I haven't since I joined, but now I realize that it's just so stupid. You probably haven't met many, if any of the people you talk to on this forum, so I don't know how you can make judgements like I "can't handle Mars Volta". Jesus.

Hello? Exactly why I said, "I have been making judgements since I joined, but now I realize...". God, why don't you read my text before making your stupid comments?

Ok let me take back this post. I didnt mean it as a personal attack on you (somethingisrunningonempty),and I apologize to you for it and my subsequent post. There are a thousand more appropriate and respectful ways of saying what I was trying to say. What I meant is that Mars Volta ventures into more unkknown and experimental territory and to some that's an improvement and to others its not.

Oh please, don't barrage me with questions to all those ugly answers.
My ego's like my stomach- it keeps shitting what I feed it.
But maybe I don't want to finish anything anymore..
maybe I can wait in bed 'til she comes home. and whispers....

Ok, I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not. If you aren't though, thank you. If you are, well then I don't know. ANyways, I get what you're saying. I used to really be into the experimental scene, but now I'm kinda more into heavier stuff. If you like experimental, please god check out Portishead.
