![]() ![]() Songs Of Faith And Devotion Depeche Mode (1993, Mute/Sire/Reprise) Not sure if the whole lp holds up but the opening track still sounds great. Saw them at Madison Square Garden shortly after the album's release. Great stage show. Not especially fond of the video. i feel you |

Why? They certainly played it to death. I grant you - it’s a great song but the over saturation of the airwaves (couldn’t avoid it on the radio) with it makes it seem like a jingle now. Same with Sinêad O’Connor’s Prince cover that year -
