Fall Of The Plastic Empire (2001, Buddyhead) is the debut lp from the rock band, Burning Brides. Not bad. Went to school with front man, Dimitri Coats. Band's a perfect fit for him.

arctic snow

They later did a song for the movie, Suck, where Dimitri starred as a lead vampire.

flash and bone (2008)

Not sure if the whole lp holds up but the opening track still sounds great. Saw them at Madison Square Garden shortly after the album's release. Great stage show. Not especially fond of the video.

i feel you

I have always loved this song , and the album Songs Of Faith And Devotion is one of the band's greatest artistic achievements.

This is a very interesting collaboration of David Bowie and the Pet Shop Boys

Why? They certainly played it to death. I grant you - it’s a great song but the over saturation of the airwaves (couldn’t avoid it on the radio) with it makes it seem like a jingle now. Same with Sinêad O’Connor’s Prince cover that year -

Another iconic 1990 jam

gonna make you sweat (everybody dance now) c&c music factory

The debut album of the same name is a dance and aerobics classic. Hardly listen to it anymore but it sure got play back in the day.

"Crazy" became one of Seal's biggest hits, reaching the top five in the United Kingdom and first top ten in the United States.
This song was inspired by the crazy events of 1989-90, in particular the fall of the Berlin Wall..
Imho there are much newer songs that sound much older ..
