I'm primarily interested in the 80s here for the nostalgia, and have amassed a pretty large collection on Spotify (link ), here are some of my (maybe a bit less known, at least for me) favs:

When In Rome - The Promise

Yazoo - Nobody's Diary

A Flock Of Seagulls - I Ran (So Far Away)

maniac michael sembello (1983, casablanca)

For the longest time you couldn't listen to this version (from the film, Flashdance) on YouTube, Spotify and many of the other major streaming platforms. Rights issue, obviously. Glad that's over. Also didn't realize how much Jennifer Beals' body was doubled in the movie until recently. The famous breaker, CrazyLegs, fills in for Beals on the spinning/locking segments of the dance room routines.

Waiting for the day when they make Greed (1988, Virgin) digital. Classic in my book.

Songs Of Faith And Devotion Depeche Mode (1993, Mute/Sire/Reprise)
Not sure if the whole lp holds up but the opening track still sounds great. Saw them at Madison Square Garden shortly after the album's release. Great stage show. Not especially fond of the video.

i feel you
