During his Walk Across America to inspire others, Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter Mike Posner says he was bitten by a baby rattlesnake in Colorado. "That venom is no joke! I got to the hospital and got the anti-venom in time," he wrote on Instagram. Now, the 31-year-old is learning to walk again, step by step. InsideEdition.com's Stephanie Officer explains how Posner is remaining true to his motto, "keep going."

This guy is very charismatic and relatable and sincere.

Listened to A Real Good Kid today. I just wish the songs were a little more interesting but I get that it’s his thing to be down to earth. I can see the appeal but I don’t feel very captivated by it. They way he talks about his life actually sort of reminds me of Mark Kozelek. From one perspective it’s humble how he talks to you like someone you happened to sit next to on a long flight. On the other hand sometimes I’m thinking maybe it’s kind of narcissistic the way he assumes I would be at all interested in this much personal tmi.

Singer-songwriter Mike Posner just walked more than 2,800 miles across America. The musician behind hits like “I Took a Pill in Ibiza” says he pushed himself to live in the present after coping with depression and the deaths of loved ones. Jamie Yuccas, who was with him when he began the journey, reports.
yeah OH, this was on the news today, uploaded 31 minutes ago.

I feel for him on the Avicii suicide. I lost one of my best friends I ever made that way about 25 years ago and it still chokes me up if I think about it.

Also a friend of mine was murdered way back when I was in junior high. I think that event influenced my attitude toward society for life. You’re so impressionable at that age. Around the same time John Lennon was murdered. I loved the Beatles so much (and still do) I just couldn’t wrap my head around it.
