I didn't recognise a single name or title on your duet, so I had no idea what to expect, and discovered an unusual song. Nice. Here's an old favorite of mine, though not a boy/girl duet:- |

Charo Bogarin, of the duo "Tonolec" from Argentina, with singer-songwriter Malena Muyala from Uruguay, playing the song "Pasos" by Malena Muyala...

and now for something completely diferrent, the Kim Gordon/Chuck D duet

Prolapse had two vocalists, one male one female.
also the two vocalists were romantically involved so i guess there were tensions. a pretty good thing to do about tensions is a song i guess, so here's maybe the best "duet" i can think of: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2qroI-VWDNY |
Bobby Womack and Lana Del Rey

My favourite duets are:

Some nice pop duets there, Eleanor. I especially like Ebony and Ivory which does something worthwhile that music is always capable of, but doesn't necessarily do: send a message and example of racial tolerance.
Here's one of the most famous duets of the 60s. Like so much pop, it's a rather manufactured commodity and looking at it today I wondered, what exactly is the product Sonny and Cher are offering ? Answer, imo: buy into a hippy fairy tale about two good-looking lovers, united in rejecting convention and living in blissful poverty. I feel that they, and the entire audience should be wearing rose-coloured spectacles. |
