Just FYI, melodic death metal is not referred to as "Swedish death metal", as "Swedish death metal" is a legit form of real death metal that predates melodic death metal. Mostly from Stockholm.

No, I'm referring to melodic death metal with Göteborg roots. Hence swedish .

But nobody calls that Swedish death metal. Which makes sense, since most melodic death metal doesn't really sound at all like death metal while "Swedish death metal" does.
