Next month Carly Rae is performing about two hours from where I live but I won't be going because she's opening for Hedley and I fucking hate Hedley.

Interestingly, my uber masculine husband is a fan of her music. I have heard some of her more popular singles but have never listened to an album... Which lesser-known songs would you recommend for Mrs. Dagger?

This last one might be a guilty pleasure but I think her old stuff is great too so oh well.

Can't wait to get home and give it a listen. I'd prefer more of a variety in the remixed tracks instead of just 4 album tracks with various mixes but hey, beggers can't be choosers.

I think it's because we enjoy the music. Fun, anthemic at times, dance tunes, some r&b, not too serious and overall just good pop.

I assume you're talking about Marina and the Diamonds? I'm not too well versed in modern pop, but I know someone has that name.

Carly Rae Jepsen just seemed somewhat boring and like nothing special when she had her first hit singles. I can't really remmeber what she sounds like. Maybe I'll check out both a little later today and see if I like any of it.
