SUGGEST ME AN ALBUM - I'm probably not going to listen to it but I will if you bother me enough.

If more people were contributing to the thread I would agree, but this is pretty quiet and that method would take literally years at the pace we are going now.

Also there's time to discuss the albums as we go if members want to.

Alright, in that case,

1. Flaming Lips
2. Love
3. Animal Collective

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

^

I don't mind if we decide on simply picking a top album, but would people rather do it that way or a Top 10?

Top 10. And I'm not changing my mind! I'm officially confirming that I know what I'm doing now so it's all cool.

Get your list ordered and post it below.

From liked most to liked least, I think my order would be...:

1. Love - Forever Changes
2. The Zombies - Odessey and Oracle
3. The Beatles - Magical Mystery Tour
4. The Beach Boys - Surf's Up
5. of Montreal - Hissing Fauna, Are You the Destroyer
6. Animal Collective - Merriweather Post Pavillion
7. The Flaming Lips - Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots
8. Kaleidoscope - Tangerine Dream
9. The Kinks - Something Else by the Kinks
10. The Monkees - Headquarters

Some of these were really hard to rank against each other though, I could easily see some of these switching places.
edit: re-ordered the lower part of my list a bit (Feb. 18)

no. 1 and no. 10 are definite, some of the others could possibly swap places with further listens.
