Default International pop favorites

Yeah I went there... Hopefully in the correct forum

My favorite non-Brit pop falls into the Middle Eastern category (Greek bellydance music included). Seems to have a higher bioresonance than much of the American pop Ive heard.

Now USUALLY if I listen to Middle Eastern music, I forgo pop altogether and prefer a good darbuka solo (minus the vocals). But something about EL Leilah by Diaa is just so fun and multidimensional. I think it's Turkish but could be mistaken.

(And before anyone asks... No I don't remember the name of the dancer pictured, but know she's been active for at least ten years... This picture seems to get copy/pasted on all things "bellydance")
