If this thread is any indication of The Batlord's trending tastes, it seems you might have some competition on winning again in 2015.

I think my mainstream taste is too pick-and-choose to qualify. I dig a lot of dance pop, but could give a **** about much more of it, and other than that, I don't give a **** about Top 40. Butt rock like Three Days Grace or Nickelback is a no go, modern R&B bores me to tears, and whatever passes for radio hip hop generally does nothing for me (unless you're Kanye for the most part).

My taste in general is metal of all types, old school alternative/art rock/proto-punk, and to a lesser extent, non-mainstream hip hop.
