Lindsey Buckingham- Trouble

lots of "uhhhhs" and ""ahhhhss", and that little riff after each time he says "think I'm in trouble"- you played air guitar to that solo even though it's not remotely VanHalenesque...

Crowded House- Don't Dream It's Over

nice little pop masterpiece, IMO, comes on the radio and you're singin' along...."hey now, hey now"...

and if you're looking for a nice little live album, check out their "Farewell To The World" a goodbye concert from the Sydney Opera House, very nice recording and emotional performance..

Philip Oakey & Giorgio Moroder - "Together in Electric Dreams

and

Catch Me (I'm Falling) by Pretty Poison from the "Hiding Out" soundtrack..with clips of a very young Jon Cryer

Two of the best from that era.

I'm gonna add some solo George Michael. I use to jam along to this on MTV all the time back then. What a voice.

Before Rick and Karl of Underworld made it big with the club anthem, "Born Slippy", they formed a synth-pop band named as an impronouncable squiggle, later redubbed "Freur." Here's their biggest hit - "Doot Doot" from the Live in London DVD.

After Freur they formed Underworld Mk1 and had a minor hit - "Underneath the Radar."
