That's true, Ingrid Michaelson in her cover of "Can't Help Falling In Love" sounds like Regina Spektor. That's probably why I like it! I like their light, floaty voices with a little gravel in them.
Here's another song by Ingrid Michaelson that I like. I haven't heard enough of her songs to know what her own style is. I'm thinking this is typical of her: "The Way I Am" (Cute lyric about buying Rogaine. I bet there aren't many songs in existence that mention Rogaine.)
