Good point. Although so did songs from the 50s, 60s and 70s.

That's because they're not from the early 90s.

^^My point is, of course, that it could still be recent enough to be regarded as pop music, something music from the 50s and 60s wouldn't be .. But I think you got it and just wanna tug at my leg a little. :p

There's a fair share of **** throughout the 90s. I don't think it was an overall great decade for music, at least not popular music. There's a lot of good, no doubt, but just so much crap ..

LOL. I've never heard that before but it reminds me a hell of a lot of "Barbie Girl".

It's interesting to me how much of a different animal European pop was in the 90s compared to the pop we had over here. I think yours was better actually, at least it wasn't afraid to be silly.

I have to admit, though, I am a fan of Scatman (just the one song)....
Don't you think Kylie's "Confide In Me" was so much better than the rest of her stuff?

Does Ace Of Base count as 90's Pop? If so, they get a big thumbs up from me.

I went nuts for them as a kid...along with Kenny G.

I don't care how many e-cool points I lose, I loved Kenny G. as a kid...it was a phase...

But yeah..."Beautiful Life" was their peak, I really wish they'd make a comeback...I'd write for them for free if they did.
