My favourites... The Cranberries Snakadaktal Lady Gaga Britney Spears |
Nancy Sinatra is one of my favorite guilty pleasures. I'm so obsessed with her I have nearly every song she's ever recorded. She really has a great voice and has her father's gift of vocal phrasing. I love her collaborations with the brilliant Lee Hazelwood. Her James Bond movie song, You Only Live Twice is my favorite of all of the Bond movie theme songs.

Not only that, she's adorable! Her voice is so amazing and I am building up her music so I can also have it all. That Bond song is insanely cool.

30 years after my introduction to the music of Nancy Sinatra, I was lucky enough to get to see her and Lee Hazlewood perform a concert at a small club in Boston, MA. I also had the unexpected pleasure of meeting Nancy & Lee after the show. They were both as nice in person as I had imagined they might be and they were kind enough to autograph a "Boots" album cover T-shirt I had bought at the show. Of all the many hundreds of shows I've been to in my life, that was one of the most enjoyable and memorable. I've got all her albums on vinyl or CD and I agree with you about that Bond theme song, it's also my all-time favorite Bond tune. |
Let us all bask in Nancy's delicious music! I love her Boots Are Made For Walking video, she is unbelievably gorgeous and mod 60's style.
