Brian Robertson was 16 when he joined Thin Lizzy.

Can Justin Bieber do this? I'm afraid not. Kyoko Sugiyama even kicks Alan Whites ass on the drums let alone any mention of Justin Bieber. After watching that Justin Bieber should give up and become a paper boy. Steve Winwood was in a way a child prodigy too. He played with a bunch of Blues artist while still in school, joined the Spencer Davis Group at 14 and he appear in the movie "Pop Gear" when he was about 16/17. The fact of the matter is without the media hype machine shoving bieber fever down our throats he would just be another kid singing in his mother's basement. Sure he is "talented", but there are a million other artists his age or younger doing more interesting ****. He's only popular because young girls think he's cute and record execs love manipulating teens.

The Flatliners were 14 when they wrote most of their debut album and 16 when they recorded and released it.

I don't really care about his age. There are many talented bands/musicians out there that deserve to have a successful music career than he does. I'm not necessarily talking about fame. Just the opportunity to be backed up, prolong their music career, distribute records, and be appreciated. He's not at that stage yet, and that's all that matters.

I'm still half doing this too or at least I was until I remembered half of Jane's Addiction was 19 when they started out (drums and guitar) I feel better now. Also the entire Mother's Milk album by the Red Hot Chili Peppers features an 18/19 year old John Frusciante. |
