Default Music recommendation

I like to listen to pop music very much. As a result, I want to listen to more pop music. However, I have no idea about new and good pop songs recently. I hope anyone who knows good songs can recommend to me. Is there anyone can recommend good songs to me? Thanks a lot!!

new pop ? Maybe Of Montreal's 'Hissing Fauna, are you the destroyer ?' or The Postal Service's's 'give up' which are electro-pop.

But I believe the best era of pop was the eighties, with synthpop gems like Gary Numan's 'pleasure of prinicple', OMD's 'architecture & morality', ABC's the lexicon of love', Duran Duran's 'RIO', a-ha's 'hunting high and low', Ultravox's rage in eden', Depeche Mode's 'black celebration', Bronski Beat's 'the age of consent', Dexy's midnight runners' 'too-rye-ay', Soft Cell's 'non-stop erotic cabaret', tears for fears' 'songs from the big chair', visage's self-titled, Propaganda's 'a secret wish', Echo & the Bunnymen's 'heaven up here', The human league's 'dare', Dale Bozzio & Missing Persons' 'live from the danger zone'.

Besides, Donald ***en is great as well :

Have you listened to Ke$ha? It's pretty much today's pop.

First of all - there already is a thread for music recommendations.
Second - why do you want to discover new pop music? Only a few of the good artists are on the top lists, and the radios don't seem to give a damn about them. Looking for pop music on the top lists will keep you from making a lot of new music discoveries. But if you really want to, try Spotify, the ultimate music streaming and discovery application. There is a free version, too.
