I'm also very much into K-Pop all of a sudden. It's funny...

Initially was just listening to some electronic dance instrumentals on SoundCloud and there was a glitch in the system and it all of a sudden switched to a steady stream of IVE, NMIXX, Aespa, ITZY, Ahuna, etcetera. I really really liked those immediately. They were generous enough to put their tunes on SoundCloud.

I'm totally feeling it. I love all those girl/lady bands. After a while I peeked at the YouTube M/V videos and I'm really impressed with the dance moves and special effects.

The energy of girl band K-pop reminds me of what the better portions of 1990s rave/post rave scene had going on that I really miss. The syncopated rhythms and the flashiness and the audio surprises and the rainbow bursts of cleverness.... I really wish the rest of the music industry would be more like that. And it doesn't have to be hip-hop either. But the energy is EXCELLENT.

Count me in, I run for roses.
