Or even this?
Album title: R U Ready? Artist: Lovelyz Genre: K-Pop/Dance/R&B Nationality: Korean Release date: February 26 Position in Discography: Second Fear Factor: Low Familiar with this artist? No Familiar with the genre or subgenre? Since I began this, a lot more, yes Average RYM Score: 2.95 After a long hiatus, back to K-Pop we go. Seems for some reason this album was re-released in May under a new name, but from what I've heard of this genre to date it seems most of it is the same, corporate-produced line of happy pop, and it's getting tougher to say anything distinct about any of the bands, all of whom seem to blend together into one bubbly mass of female hormones and boppy pop tunes that copy American styles and tropes. This could be NCT127, Hello Venus, SES, April or any of the K-Pop bands I've already listened to: there's really very little difference, at least that I can discern. I'm sure their fans would disagree. There are of course the obligatory ballads, and “Morning Star” is a very nice one. Hmm. And it's followed by another, this time “First Snow”. Both very nice. One song that does grab my attention is the kind of pop/rock tune after “Knock Knock” which seems to translate merely to “The”, but it stands out as something different on a pretty bland and unvaried album. Still, this is K-Pop, so don't expect too much. It's entertaining, it's happy, it's harmless. It's K-Pop: that is its blessing. It is also its curse. Check out more from this artist? Unlikely Check out more from this genre or subgenre? Likely

Hard to believe its been 5 years, Heejin has become one of the top lead girls in the industry since. she was only 17 I think when this came out. insane talent.
I love the artistry at all levels in the early loona stuff. Very aesthetic and has a real sense of fine art and high brau.

See that's what I mean. You know about your subject, obviously have an interest in / passion for it, and write about it. Nothing whatever wrong with that. Now look at K-Addicts's posts. Not a word other than their sig. Just video after video after video after, well, you know. So are they real or a bot? This is what we're trying to find out, and are goading them to see if they respond. So far, the jury says no, they are not a real poster and are merely a bot. Thread to follow.

Album title: Feel 'em Artist: Btob Genre: K-Pop Nationality: Korean Release date: March 6 Position in Discography: Tenth EP; twelfth overall Fear Factor: High Familiar with this artist? No Familiar with the genre or subgenre? A little by now Average RYM Score: 2.28 Surely that's a bad choice of album title, no? Btob stands for, in case you're vaguely interested, Born to Blow. Sorry, that's a lie: stands for Born to Beat. I prefer my interpretation. And this album is superb. That's also a lie. It's grabage. Sorry, garbage: still got George Takei on the brain from the sexual misconduct thread. Come to think of it, the title here also kind of ties into that. About the most interesting thing about it, though. At least it's only five tracks, which is five too many. Check out more from this artist? No

Of all the LOONA solo debut MV's , Gowon's has grown on me the most, at first I did not really care for it, but it's become one of my favorites. So much aesthetics worked into the video artistry and a cool dark yet playful vibe. like a weird horror comedy almost. That and the "crunchy" queen vocals rule. And the early loona stuff just wicked crazy synths.
