Hard to know. Could just be a piece of the blowback from formulating her stage persona mid-career. She got a lot of flak for having been Lizzy Grant.

But her parents are rich as ****, so it's not like she was running out of resources.

Wasn't expecting to find myself in this thread but I came across this today and man, that is one stunning album cover. 50s GM, mmm mmmm, Lana looks pretty alright too I guess.
