As I’ve often said—even though I doubted it at times—“pop music” isn’t necessarily garbage. But this song has substance, unlike so much of the mindless crap on the radio nowadays. Well done, Ms. Del Ray.
I’ll take her over Taylor any day. Her version of “once upon a dream” (Disney cover) is hauntingly beautiful. That’s what got me interested in her style somewhat.
