A beautiful voice is a beautiful voice, raspy or not. I personally like a little rasp, but then again, I was raised on Bob Dylan.

It's not her raspy voice that turns me away. It just all seemed fake and forced and meh, I just don't like her and her voice. She gives off hipster vibes to me and yeah like I said it might be irrational but I just don't like her.

Tbf, most pop artists give off an overly-embellished image of some sort. And she was sporting the pin-up glam before the trend really caught on, just sayin'.

She only came out in 2012.

Katy Perry and others were doing that style way before her.

Katy Perry's album with her new style came out in what? 2008?

A whole four years before Lana was even on the scene.

Katy doesn't count. She dabbles in every fashion; her image is that of a chameleon, whereas Lana's image has more or less stayed the same.

Amy's image was decidedly grungier. Hard to confuse the two

Ah well, doesn't really matter anyway, the nuances of fashion. I'll keep arguing til the death on this subject if you let me because I went through a huge phase regarding era-specific fashions back in cosmetology school lol.

She's still working on her album I guess. A song leaked in August but that was about it.

I guess she's moving away from her dreamy style of pop with the upcoming album.
