No. This is not a "parody of k-pop boy bands" as some of the commentors would desperately like to believe. This is a real attempt at pop.

I think I can stand hyersexualized music with lyrics like "You'll always be my girl" just a tad more than "I friended you last week."

I don't even know where to begin...this is horrid. The lyrics sound like they're from that made up MTV band, 2Gether or whatever it was called. The music is irritating, and not in that 'catchy pop hook' way, either. It looks like youtube agrees, with over 11,000 dislikes vs. 2,000 likes.
