I'd go as far as McCartney II before I lost interest. There are exceptions, like Flaming Pie for example, but, with very few exceptions (Flaming Pie being the lone album and a few tracks here and there), he doesn't impress me much from the eighties on.

I would go one album further as I really liked Tug of War. There are great songs on just about every album after that but nothing like Ram or Band on the Run.

I almost went as far as Tug of War, but really, the only track I like on that album is Here Today (His tribute song to Lennon). Even with McCartney II, I can only think of one standout track, Waterfalls, which is one of Macca's most melodic pieces.

You're right about Ram and Band on the Run though, they're definitely his two best.

Now that, MJ has been accused of... you know, leaving neverland... back in 2019, I think I would no longer consider MJ to be the King of Pop, he is pretty overrated anyway.

Why is MJ is seen as a king of pop anyway, he is just your average pop star, nothing special about him.
