You can't deny that they made a huge impact on the pop world even if you didn't like them.
I know the club can't handle you, you wild child you. Stay out of the clubs Holly! I won't go to a club that you are at because the police are guaranteed to show up.

this is THE definition of pop for me:- of course, you can't also go wrong with DD:- or Spandau Ballet:- or Ultravox:- or even one-hit wonders Len:- but my all-time fave is:- damn! there's just too many of them I like |

These guys aren't really a one hit wonder band but this hit is probably the only one people recognize from them

I am not a big Abba fan at all but I did grow up with them and I admire them a lot as a general music fan. Anyone who says otherwise is really missing the point.
Some of The Pretenders early stuff is decent. and for a couple of my faves that I still listen to: and of the original mix of this classic. Not the later remixes or the Florence and The Machine version. This is one song I still belt out loud at home:
